It goes to every eligible member and includes the candidate list, number of open seats, election date and location, voting instructions, and information on correcting the voter list. What the pre-ballot notice includes
This document is sent to the membership and includes the purpose of the vote, the list of candidates for annual elections and recalls, the date, time, and location of the election, the number of open seats for annual elections and recalls, the notice date, instructions on how to mail in ballots and their submission deadline, details on how to update the candidate list for annual elections and recalls, instructions on modifying the voter list, and, if applicable, the language required to allow an adjourned meeting to reduce the quorum requirement to 20%. It must be sent at least 60 days before the election. To ensure compliance and proper processing, Condo Elects requires this document to be sent 62 days before the election. If an association member has opted for electronic voting, the document will also include instructions on accessing the internet-based voting system, testing the connection, and submitting an electronic vote.
