Definition

How nomination forms are used

This document allows an association member to nominate themselves as a candidate for the Board of Directors and submit a candidate statement, subject to any candidacy requirements established in the association's election rules. Nomination forms must be returned by the deadline, which is set 30 days after mailing (or 90 days after mailing for election by acclamation); however, Condo Elects requires this deadline to be at least 64 days before the vote to ensure compliance and proper processing. If the association chooses to conduct the election by acclamation, a statement regarding this decision must be included.
